Whats up guys!? I"ll be back on FFXIV =F

Well it's been quite a long time since I said anything and I feel bad for not seeing whats up during my absence =/ but I'll for sure be play FFXIV hardcore like in the ol' days of FFXI I'll be graduating this year so I'll be busy for the most part, but after that i'll have some more extra time =) Just wanted to post this so I know which server you guys will be jumping on when XIV releases. I'm gonna drag my old FFXI bros from RL on as well. Hope you guys are doing good.

Which release are you referring to? Since the PS3 release is supposed to be 6 months after the PC release, which sucks.

Wee& Deid: if you really want to get a jump on the clan, you COULD just buy a pc version, get started on there... to head off anyone with ideas of starting the clan on their own.

I'm sure many people who are looking to play this on their PC have all thought the same thing "Can my PC handle this game? will it be like Aion's system specifications?"

Fortunately and sadly, the system requirements are a bit "beefier" then most even thought, and the game is still in alpha testing, so two things could happen in the near future, the following specifications could increases (yikes), or decrease (phew).

My PC most definitely will not meet the requirements for FFXIV.

It was (and still is) more cost effective to simply get a $300 PS3 as opposed to a new PC that can easily cost 2-3 times that, (or cost even more if I don't half-ass build one and build something that'll be able to hold up to future game/software requirements for longer than a budget system would).

As for heading off anyone with ideas of starting the clan on their own, I think an announcement in the forums should be enough. Nobody who cares about the clan should want to do anything that might go against the wishes of the clan leader(s).

If anyone here would dare conspire against the wishes of the mighty head of the Moonwatyr clan, speak up now so we can execute you before you get the chance to act.

In all seriousness though, I see no reason why the official formation of the FFXIV Moonwatyr clan can't wait until the PS3 release. It seems kind of senseless to pressure anyone into needlessly buying pricey hardware when there's no harm in simply waiting a few months to join in. Well, no harm aside from listening to the PC users gloat, but they can be dealt with later.

FFXIV is the main reason I got a PS3. I had thought that FFXIV would be released for PS3 and PC simultaneously. But seeing as no one here is going to get into it before me I don't see much of a problem waiting. Also I wouldn't dare make a Moonwatyr LS before the leaders. Lest ye wish to suffer the wrath of the gavel.
